The timeline gathers only significant, documentable milestones. It is not a full résumé, but a timeline of the writing and the works.
1990
B. Marco Guarneri is born on 25 February in San Cataldo, in the province of Caltanissetta, Sicily.
Childhood and adolescence
During childhood he wishes to write a story for Gerry, a childhood companion kept in memory, before he even has the words for it. During adolescence he entrusts reflections and questions to small notebooks, often writing at night facing the sea after work.
2009
In 2009, he gathers his first unpublished writings in a diary and several digital files, including «Tutto quello che vorrei» and «Fare ed Essere, due fratelli inseparabili».
2019
Writing takes on a new necessity: leaving his children something essential that can go beyond his role as a father. «Lettera alla sfuggente sconfitta» and «Dialoghi con la Piccola Voce Amica» take shape. The texts expand his personal archive.
2025
On 3 January, during walks in Parco Dubini in Caltanissetta, the cycle of «Riflessioni al parco» begins: an unpublished archive of more than nine hundred pages from which the world of the Giardino Invisibile emerges.
2026
Davide Falletta Editore publishes «Il Giardino Invisibile» – Come coltivare la coscienza nell'epoca della dispersione. The book is presented to the public and takes part in the 38th edition of the Turin International Book Fair, from 14 to 18 May 2026. On 21 July, DIEFFE Publishing releases the Spanish edition, «El Jardín Invisible» – Cómo cultivar la conciencia en tiempos de dispersión. Copies of the work enter the municipal libraries of San Cataldo and Caltanissetta and, in August, the reading point of Castro Marina. Editorial work continues on the novel «Il Destino di Camminava» – Nel Deserto dei Bonsai.
